Excellent place for a walk or run. Explore one of the many trails and campsites, or simply sit on the beach and enjoy the river.

Croton Point Park is a lovely, large park just 5 minutes north of Ossining. It is perfect for running or walking along the river. There are grills and lots of land for a BBQ.

Very large park with campgrounds and impressive view of the Hudson River Many trees for shade. Lots and lots of area to roam and explore, playgrounds for children, although, in my opinion, not the prettiest of the parks. We just visited for a couple of hours from out of state (NJ). I can't comment honestly on the campground since we were not there for that, but there were several RV's with hookups. There is also a spot to launch kayaks. There were older buildings that were closed and definitely haven't been in use.

Very large County Park with hiking, biking and swimming beach right on the Hudson. We come here frequently.
