Situated practically at the end of the road - you cannot stay at this flat and not visit the Stables Market - food, clothes, souvenirs, you name it and the market probably sells it. It's a complete labyrinth, so set aside a few hours! This place has smartened up exponentially in the 20 years I've lived here, & the prices definitely reflect this! Gone are the days you could pick up £2 noodles. My wife and I were quite shocked at the food prices last time we walked through. But still well worth a visit & trinkets can still be picked up on the cheap if you dig around.

The Stables used to be a horse hospital and, well, stables. It has now been transformed into a warren of market stalls, food retailers, bars, night clubs and high end restaurants. Tip – You need to go to Cyberdog at least once in your life. The Amy statue is disappointing, I’d give it a miss and head to one of her former hangouts – The Hawley Arms.
