Inside this Jewish cultural center, there’s a room-sized wooden Noah’s Ark filled with artistic animal marionettes and sculptures. Kids can load handmade wooden animals onto the Ark and climb through rope tunnels. It’s a perfect fun house, with activities, music, stories, and entertainment. Get your ticket in advance (you don’t need one for a child under 2). Starting at 11:45 on Thursdays, the Ark is free. First-come, first-served.
Noah’s Ark! Performance space. Arts/crafts room. Special exhibits. Free Thursdays!
Reserve Noah's Ark tickets online in advance if you're on a tight schedule—otherwise if you show up on a Sat. or Sun. after 11a.m., you may have to wait until 1p.m. or later for entrance to the exhibit.
It’s an educational institution in LA devoted to sustaining Jewish heritage. Great and small scale exhibitions that are perfect for adults and kids. It’s 11 miles away. You can easily spend 4-5 hours there.

“Family-friendly chain offering creative takes on Chinese fare in a striking space. Not as great as it used to be but still OK and interesting dishes. Good for catching a movie and dinner.”
