There is a closer access point than Marble Falls just on the other side of Lago Vista (about 5 miles west of Jonestown) where you can park the car and hike for a few miles on a variety of trails. The trails are mostly shaded and you'll feel like you're a million miles from the hustle and bustle of town!

Don't follow the directions for this place - ask us! You can either hike here or drive up to the outlook and see a wonderful view! We like to take subway up there and eat. It is absolutely beautiful!
