It's a 50km cycle track in the middle of the desert. Depending on riding speed, the mostly flat track typically takes between 1.5 and 3 hours to complete. Some say that the best time to ride is at sunrise or sunset.

Ok this is really something that us people who live in Dubai like to do, but I also think it’s a great activity for a visitor! The idea is to get away from its it all: take a cab to the middle of the desert (don’t worry that’s only forty minutes away), rent a bike and then let yourself be submerged by the desert breeze and follow the track - you have both options for small rides or for very long ones - bikes and material can be rented on the spot. When you are back have a fresh fruit juice and hot-dog at one of the many food trucks!

This wonderful cycle park has a choice of an 8km, 6km and 4km loop. The whole course is lit by night (for safety reasons you still need to have lights on your bike) and there are toilets and aircon
