Drive (or hike) up to Lincoln Gap and access the Long Trail - there are 3 nice standard hikes from here (sunset rock at 1.1 miles is a short and worthwhile view)

There are several excellent hikes on the Long Trail, and other trails, near the B&B where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of mother nature, enjoy some great views, and come across the occasional animal sharing nature with you.

Not for the faint of heart, some unpaved stretches and some steep pieces. Awesome in every other way. East 4.1 miles at 6.7% West 3.6 miles at 7.7% Some quarter mile stretches average 15%, The east side has a mile long climb that averages 15+% The west side maxes out at 26%. Take it easy on the descents, sightlines are poor and the surface can be terrible in places. The first time I rode it, I was lost and wondering why everybody I passed on the road was cheering for me and giving me high fives. You can find out why they were so encouraging.
