Great area family owned market with Vermont local products. One of our family favorites to grab unique jams and hot sauces. There is a liquor store on site

Waitsfield, VT- You can shop here for groceries or Shaw's supermarket across the street, but at Mehuron's in the back deli is a good place if you want to only get sandwiches to go on picnic or hike.

Good grab and go, excellent butcher (dry aged beef!) and daily fish deliveries. Thoughtfully chosen cheeses from near and far, plus an unusually extensive selection of crackers. This is the place to go fetch a ready-made picnic before going to the river. Daily bread from Red Hen baking, 3x weekly bread delivered from Green Rabbit (if you see Green Rabbit bread across from the dairy, do yourself a favor and buy some). Liquor and large wine selection in the back. Avoid the Shaws across the street.
