Did Hitler really once stay here? Did he escape after the 2nd world war, get surgery and come to live in this villa? the answers to both are probably not, but the legend is one worth exploring for history buffs and legend seekers alike. Vists are sometimes rewarded by a guided tour, but this happens at the discretion of the custodian so please don't go expecting this. It's a great place to twin with a trip to Cofete beach ... which in itself is well worth the travel to reach

Esta es una historia de nazis, de un espía alemán que levantó una casa singular en un paisaje inhóspito de Fuerteventura, de avionetas vigiladas, submarinos de guerra y pasadizos secretos. Nada de esto existe en los papeles oficiales, sino en la mente de miles de majoreros (habitantes de Fuerteventura) que alimentan la leyenda de la Casa Winter.
