Kealia Trail is a well-travelled trail and one of the most popular on the North Shore. Not far from our Yurt and directions can be found on the Internet. It is located above Dillingham Field where there are people jumping out of perfectly good airplanes and Peacock Flats is nearby. Hopefully, the day and time you hike you will be able to see the peacocks, but it is almost a given that you will be able to hear them:)

This hike takes you up to the top of the Waianaes. Great exercise and spectacular views of Waialua and Haleiwa. If you are a nature person this is a must do hike!

Moderate switchback hike with amazing views. Located at Dillingham Airfield, home of Oahu's general aviation - also skydivers and gliders. Hike along the ridge and have gliders whistle by, watch the skydivers free-fall, and hear small planes land and take-off. Ends at a covered picnic bench for a break and ocean views. We love this hike!

Beautiful shaded hike, take about one hour to get up to the top. You'll find a picnic table at the top to have a snack. The "Pill box" is at Sunset Beach Elementary School, when you go into the parking lot you'll see a sign on the right hand side at the trailhead. 10 minute bike ride from where you are staying.
