One of our favorite places in Colorado. Stunning to drive Trail Ridge Road (when opened) and see all the beautiful vistas.

A park like no other. 2020 covid restrictions caused them to implement a timed entry with permit process. You have to call ahead unless you go BEFORE 8AM or AFTER 5PM. Permits sell out so do call them as soon as you know which day you want to go in! Hopefully this will be a thing of the past…

A living showcase of the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains. Elevations ranging from 8,000 feet in the wet, grassy valleys to 14,259 feet at the weather-ravaged top of Longs Peak.

It’s the Rocky Mountains! Hundreds of trails, lakes, and incredibly spectacular views and only 45-60 minutes away! Beautiful drive there through the Big Thompson Canyon.

One of the most scenic destinations in Colorado, this National Park bordering on the scenic town of Estes Park, is well worth dedicating a day to! However, you will want to look into reservations well in advance before you can go.

A beautiful scenic drive through the Rockies. Lots of pull off's for sight seeing, don't forget to bring an extra layer, as you go up in altitude it definitely gets a bit chilly!

Drive up to Estes Park then over the 14,000 ft mountain. No guard rails so not for a faint-of-heart driver. Majestic.

“Rarely crowded; long or short loops to walk- mostly gentle paths with little altitude gain. (i.e. mostly flat). Pretty exposed, so hike early or later to avoid heat of midday. Open dawn to dusk.”
