Where Packard's vehicles were made, now abandoned and a Detroit Blight Icon. Dont wander from your car too far because security will come and yell at you, but an interesting place to drive around and see how far Detroit has fallen at times in its history.

Another iconic abandoned building.

AKA "the largest abandoned building in the world." When you think of Detroit more recently, this is probably the accompanying scene in your head. Supposedly there are only two security guards patrolling, but the plant was recently purchased by a South American investor, so expect that to change.

The former Packard Motor Company plant has been empty and exposed to the elements for...a long time. This was a very popular destination for "urban explorers" until more recently when a new owner purchased the facility and has since hired 24 hour security.
