This is your down-home, southern, country cooking type of place. Their Shrimp and grits is outstanding (I have only been there once so far-great experience), and they have great cocktails too. I recommend making reservations.

If you can get in, this place is worth any wait. They don’t take reservations but make it a goal to go get in the wait list. Southern cooking influences by a fantastic local, African American chef/owner.

When you head to Magnolia’s on King, prepare yourself for a “Southern immersion.” That means indulging in elevated Southern fare like pulled duck BBQ; shrimp and grits with maple bourbon butter; and stuffed dates with duck fat ranch, Berkshire bacon, and blue cheese. The menu boasts regional ingredients and seasonal dishes, along with a splash of local wines and beers.
