Hello! It's an awesome National Park. This is a "there and back park," which means most trails are not loops. From staircase the rapids loop is a great "everyone" trail. Most trails are steep in this area and not for the faint of heart, but the views are so so so worth the work. Just pack a lunch and take your time. You will make it.

Olympic National Forest! Lots of hikes begin from this area. Look into the Staircase Rapids Loop if you're looking for a short scenic river walk or try the Wagonwheel Lake Trail if you want some scenic views and an alpine lake! Requires entrance to Olympic NP. No dogs. GM89+9G Hoodsport, Washington

Explore the part of the Olympics Mountains. Some nice easy trails that expose old growth timber, huge cedar trees, rivers and views of some mountain peaks. 50 minute drive.
