Great spot for coffee, breakfast or lunch. Within walking distance from Riverview Retreat.
Charming little spot with wisdom throughout. Foundry Cafe also offers full menu for breakfast and lunch. Not open after 3:30 or on Wednesdays.
BEST BREAKFAST SPOT! just up a block through the tunnel, opposite the Bijou. DELIcious and LOCAL FLAVOR, from the service you receive from Sharon to what goes into the omelet:) Check out the phenomenal art while there as well.
Great breakfast, homemade soups and bakery items. Grab a sandwhich to go for your hike.
Besides the big portions, they offer great food and a homey atmosphere. It's where the locals hang out. Don't get offended if they don't greet you right away, just make yourself a cup of coffee or tea toward the back on the left and find yourself a seat.

“Located up the hill at the stoplight, this restaurant has a bit of a pub feel to it and offers tasty burgers and American fare. Saturday nights you can typically find live music. ”

“A must visit if you get the chance. The beverages are excellent, but as a bonus, TRY THE EMPANADAS if you are looking for a snack. They also offer many highly recommended gelato flavors and pastries. To top it all off, this charming location is steps from the river and is run by a favorite local couple from Argentina. Check out their outdoor seating area, isn't it cute?”

“Just steps from the Hudson River. The building's 2nd floor doubles as an inn that has been in operation for almost 200 years. Check out one of their dining rooms if you are looking for steaks, fresh market fish, or pub fare. They also offer prix fixe menu and Sunday Lunch and Sunday Brunch menus. ”

“If you’re looking for some semblance of a date-night feel, Brasserie Le Bouchon is about your only option in Cold Spring. It sort of feels like the love child of a Little Italy spot and a French bistro, and it’s charming - albeit also a little bit cheesy. The food can be hit or miss, but the French onion soup is a good thing to eat on a chilly day.”
