Rent a Kayak or canoe, walk the boardwalk to the beach, visit the museum and walk the trails. Beautiful location on the Singer Island beachfront.
Our favorite state park, John D MacArthur Beach State Park, is about a 30 minutes drive north. Beautiful area with lovely beaches, wildlife, nature walks, kayaking and more!
This place is amazing in some many ways!!! You can do kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, barbecue and enjoy the beautiful beach.

“You can bike here - along the Intracoastal to the Lake Trail on Palm Beach. This museum is just off the Lake Trail which is a paved bike/walking path that runs along the Intracoastal Waterway. Henry Flagler is a very important man who developed most of the area. The Flagler Museum was his winter home that was built in the 1920s on Palm Beach, overlooking the Intracoastal, and it is absolutely breath-taking. There's a small fee for admission and hours are limited - be sure to look them up on the web. I would roughly give this place about 2 hours to complete the tour of the home and grounds - AMAZING! Walk around the bend on the Lake Trail that is in front of the home and you'll find a Palm Beach landmark - the Giant Kapok Tree. This is a must see and photo op!”

“Peanut Island is small man-made island in the Lake Worth inlet, close to the separation point between Signer Island and Palm Beach. The island houses a park for camping, fishing, snorkeling and other recreational activities. The 79 acre land mass has a storied history, as it is where former president John F. Kennedy built his nuclear bunker during the Cold War. The bunker is still maintained, and walking tours are offered through the facility. The area around Peanut Island is a boaters' paradise, with many shallow areas and sand bars to anchor on. Every weekend you can see a party going on around the island. Go to the Sailfish Marina and catch a water taxi over to the island. ”

“You can visit the sea turtles that the hospital is caring for. This is a free activity all though they ask for a small donation of your choice to help save the turtles!”
