Newly named The Southern Stone has a creative menu, excellent bar and wine selections, deserts, and outdoor dining should you care to partake. I will warn you, the outdoor seating is on a busy intersection that is not at all quaint. I enjoy the indoor dining, Shrimp and grits, collard greens, and the fried green tomatoes are my personal favorites. Corner of Patterson and South Rogers, minutes away.

This modern southern kitchen takes soul food upscale but is still affordable. Great atmosphere and super accommodating menu.
