The outdoor gym at Rushcutters has a great setup, with a wide selection of bars for pull-ups and push-ups plus equipment for box jumps and functional training. Working out here you’re surrounded by an expansive park and a running track that hugs the water. Visit at sunset—the atmosphere is electric and the view over the marina is unbeatable. I love visiting on Sunday afternoons. The park fills up with groups of friends playing touch football and soccer and Oztag, so if you feel like a bit of a kick-around, it’s a good place to go to jump into a game. I recommend visiting between 1 and 3 pm.

A strikingly beautiful harbourside space, this park has a large, open, green expanse right on the waterfront. The small bay is filled with moored boats. It couldn’t be more picturesque, looking across the water to the yachts of Sydney. Perfect for families with children as the park hosts a number of playgrounds and cafes.

Gorgeous harbour hang out and off leash park for dogs. Stop at the cafe, have lunch or a drink at the dog friendly CYC Yacht Club.

Bayswater Boutique

This lovely park is just a stone's throw from the Bayswater Boutique Lodge. Playing fields, two kiosks, an outdoor gym lots of large trees to picnic under as well as a stunning view of the yachts and water craft. Walk around to Darling Point for a view of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, especially popular on New Year's Eve for a spectacular view of the fireworks!
