Known for its African American heritage, this district is recapturing its glory days as a vibrant urban neighborhood. A collection of cozy neighborhood restaurants, clubs, and art galleries can be found here.
Fun, old downtown brick buildings with new renovation and hip restaurants. Can’t go wrong hanging out in Deep Deuce!
Deep Deuce is known for its historical importance as the center for black culture in Oklahoma City. It was home to warehouse district workers in nearby Bricktown after the 1889 Land Run and grew to become the hub for local blues and jazz musicians throughout the 1940s and ’50s.
Interesting area with several shops and food places. You can rent scooters and bikes.
