This is a stunning mansion owned by the Anderson family. It is the meeting place for the Society of Cincinnati and definitely worth walking into. You can just step in, go on a 1 hour free tour, or look up the musical events here at night.

“You are a 5 min walk to the Metro! The Dupont Metro stop is on the Red Line (this is the line that will connect you to any other metro line). There are 2 entrances to the metro. You'll want to go to the one on Q and 20th, it's the closest. The other one is on the circle, a farther walk.”

“Yes, Georgia Brown’s makes brunch look easy. Maybe it’s the low country food that makes the entire experience so relaxed. That combined with the music and chill hospitality. Families were there after church, friends were celebrating special occasions; this D.C. institution was full of locals. It’s the kind of place where you should lounge around in a big hat with your mimosa, listen to jazz, and stuff yourself stupid.”

“Take a stroll up and down Massachusetts Avenue to view the Embassies of many countries. These buildings often offer beautiful architecture that is reminiscent of the countries they represent. Embassies also commonly offer special events, so check online to see if anything is happening!”
