You can climb up to the tower that has really nice views. It used to be the highest building the world in 15-16 century.
You can climb on top of a church and see the whole old town from the view platform. The price is cheap - about 1-2 euros.
Oleviste Church has an amazing view from the top of the tower. You can unfortunately get there only on some months of the summer. The stairs are very narrow and steep so if you suffer from claustrophobia or are afraid of heights or have hearth problems this place can be dangerous!

Point of Interest
“Kohtuotsa offers sweeping panoramas of Old Town's rooftops and towers against the backdrop of the modern city skyline. The spacious area on the east corner of Toompea hill offers unforgettable views of the medieval neighbourhood and is easily the city's most famous photo spot. From here you can see most of Tallinn's centuries-old spires as well as its newer ones.”
