Weird food but the atmosphere makes it worth it. Beer and wine can be enjoyed outside.

OUTDOOR dining, closed with bad weather. Have a beer or light meal amongst the trees and greenhouses. Close walk.

Native Cafe is a cafe and beer garden and just a short walk through their parking lot, across High Street from the Airbnb. It is a must spot to visit when visiting Lexington. The open air dining area is nestled on the grounds of Michler's Florist and Greenhouse, a family owned business crossing generations. Guests dine in an incredibly beautiful greenhouse setting during the winter months The green and warmth of the greenhouse setting speaks to me. Enjoy craft beer, and light food. A leisurely walk through the greenhouses, adds flavor to the already rich experience of visiting Native Cafe. They typically have live music on Sunday afternoons. The cafe is closed on Monday's but they currently feature poetry. readings on Monday nights. The back entrance to the cafe is literally through the gate, at the back of the parking lot across High Street from the Airbnb.

This place is a bit of a secret, you walk into a forest oasis and forget you're in the heart of Lexington. In the summer their greenhouse is full of blooms and in the fall you can cozy up to the wood fireplace. Their menu is limited but delicious. The sparkling lemonade is a personal favorite, they have wine and beer, definitely grab a pretzel with beer cheese. Kids and dogs are welcome!
