(~5min drive or ~20min bike ride) is a wonderful, very accessible, city-maintained and quality-checked swimming hole - a seasonally diverted mountain creek (Hemlock Brook) forms a shallow pond with sandy beaches on both sides, with a picnic area under giant conifers.

The closest thing we have to a beach in Williamstown. It is a public, cold spring-fed pond. Cool on a hot summer day. Good for a family picnic. Bring bug spray.
