Located inside the Wyndham Hotel at 56th Street, this grille is a fantastic place to grab a bite and enjoy the beach. It is the only hotel located in the "North End" area of the beach. What makes this area especially nice is the lack of hotels and wide open beaches. There is free parking on site. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main beach and also have access to food, drink, and restrooms, head up to the Surf Club. They have a large outdoor dining patio right on the beach. Additionally, you can choose to visit the "North End" beaches without visiting the Grill. If you drive North towards the grill, once you get to around 40th Street, you will bet in a residential zone. On street parking in the neighborhoods is legal and free. The challenge can be to find a parking spot. So you can turn right onto any street between 40th and around 80th and grab a parking spot. The beaches are relaxing and never crowded. It takes a little extra effort but it is beautiful and relaxing. There are no restroom facilities up this far. If you have trouble parking by turning right, you can also check for parking on the opposite side of Atlantic Ave. Just be careful crossing!

This is right on the beach on 57th St. and only a 5 block walk or bike ride away. The Wyndham Hotel is the only hotel north of 43rd St., has a nice restaurant and bar as well as an outdoor patio area for a casual meal or to just sit and have cocktail. In the evenings they typically have some light entertainment on the patio. Great place to sit and relax at the end of the day while the kids play in the sand.
