Big museum with local lore and gold rush of course. They have a big collection of carriages and wagons. Mark Twain room as well.

Excellent artifacts of the gold mining history. The authentic arrangements really stir the imagination.

This museum is really a must see with several buildings housing carriages and gold mining history. Many people volunteer here and it shows. Take the kids too but don't think its just for them!

Wonderful little museum with indoor and outdoor exhibits about the region, gold mining, Mark Twain and more! The staff is super nice and this is very kid friendly.
