Park, Beach, Hiking, History. Has it all. And you can walk from this location. Just turn right on Thoreau Street, walk past the train station and the Starbucks, and keep going. Turn right onto Walden Street, cross Route 2, and Walden Pond is on your right. Since you have to pay for parking if you drive there, it is a great idea to bike, jog, or just walk there.

Walk around the pond, enjoy playing in the sand at the beach, or take a swim!

Go for a refreshing swim in this lovely pond on a hot day and explore the adjacent historical town of Concord. If the parking lot is full park across the road near school and walk in thru the woods.
