HIKE SUMMARY: This is a must-do hike, a heart-pumping 1.8 mile one-way trek with plenty of forest pine, a healthy climb, and amazing waterfall at the end. I've done this one many times, and it's always a rewarding experience. DIFFICULTY: Moderate. JURISDICTION: USDA - Forest Service - National Forests (www.fs.fed.us) FEE: Obtain a NW Forest Pass to park near trail head. You can purchase a single day pass for $5, or an annual pass for $30, on line: www.fs.usda.gov/main/crgnsa/passes-permits/recreation. FROM THE ALOHACIENDA: About 40 minutes. Take Hwy 35 south about 33 miles to MP 72.5, and park on the right side gravel lot. (get more detailed directions from your Alohacienda Host)

This is a easy to moderate hike, kids can do it pretty easy to. About 2 hours round trip. Gorgeous views along the way. Upon arriving at the falls you can walk behind the waterfall…. Totally cool!! Can be slippery and wet, wear good shoes, bring drinks definitely!
