A lot of fun for kids in all ages! A very popular spot for Aarhus-families and therefore busy in the weekend. Late open hours in the week days

Both when sunny and rainy, this place is worth a visit. The outside playgrounds are really good, and inside, there are a bunch of different areas for both kids and adults. The café is not really good (for anything else than snacks and drinks), but luckily there are places to eat right outside the…

“The most popular art venue in Denmark, but they are not very popular with Danish artists as they are underpaid while exhibiting there. One was given a gift card to Aros gift shop as a remuneration... Still, it is a must visit for any art buff because of the exhibited international artists - who accidentally get paid very well. And if you are only into great views, you will find that too :)”

“If you like history then this is the right place for you. You can learn about the history from when the first settlers came to the area now called Denmark and forward including the Viking history. The area around the museum is well worth some time as well. Hills, forest and beach. It is for sure a scenic area.”

“The Memorial Park is just below the castle grounds of Marselisborg Palace, facing out over the Bay and is one of many beautiful parks in Aarhus. In the Marselisborg Memorial Park there are numerous fascinating and intimate areas for you to explore. If you happen to be in Aarhus during May and June, make sure not to miss the beautifully flowering cherry trees in the Memorial Park's cherry grove. A memorial wall in the Marselisborg Memorial Park bears the names of the 4,144 South Jutland Danes who lost their lives on compulsory service in the Kaiser's forces during the Great War.”
