Lederderg has big forest, valley and mountain. You can come with me when camping once a week.

Rising in the Great Dividing Range, the Lerderderg River has cut a 300 metre deep gorge through sandstone and slate, almost bisecting the park. The park has a wide variety of vegetation and wildlife.

1. There is a walking track along the ridge at the back of the property. This will take you to the caravan park with mineral springs or continue all the way to town (you can walk back along the road). 2. Take a stroll to the watering hole, its an easy 3-5 minute stroll. You can swim here. 3. Hike the Lerdederg State Park - the start of the walking track is at the top of the hill, you can walk there or take the car. Walk for hours or do a short walk and return - there's an interesting mining cave not too far in. 4. Theres a nice loop walking track at the back of Garden of St Erth.

Start from the top of Mt Blackwood (Lohs Lane) and walk through the forest to Bacchus Marsh - lovely piece of Victoria.
