Lake Wallenpaupack has 52 miles of shoreline and 13 mile in length making it the 3rd largest man made lake in PA. Great for hiking and fishing. Stop by the Wallenpaupack Brewery to sample the local brews.

“The Boat House is a Lake region staple. No matter the time of year, it's usually pretty lively, if not packed. The food ranges from good to great, and it's got a wonderful lake-side atmosphere. A great spot for a family or group, assuming you can get in!”

“In Pennsylvania, you have to go to a state-run store to get wine and spirits. Beer is sold at a separate store in the same complex. Very little alcohol is available in the grocery store.”

“The Dorflinger Glass Museum and Dorflinger Suydam Sanctuary is a combined historic and natural site in White Mills, just northwest of Hawley on Route 6. You would be hard pressed to find a more tranquil place in Wayne County. About 600 acres of pristine woodlands and open meadows are protected at the preserve. Wildlife thrives in the secure environment. Take one of the well-maintained trails and explore the beauty. There are seven trails. The shortest measures just over half a mile and the longest travels 1.4 miles. Spread out a blanket to soak in the serenity. The Glass Museum is open for self-directed and guided tours of the former factory's showroom, production floors, and employee residences. A seasonal opening schedule applies - ask us for details. Dorflinger Sudyam Sanctuary and Glass Factory Museum is located off Route 6 in White Mills.”
