The trail head begins in the lower S-Turn in Big Cottonwood Canyon. You walk a ¼ mile up the road, and on the right, you will see the sign. It starts up a small hill, then crosses a stream to a switchback that puts you on a stair-like trail up to an aspen grove. Lake Blanche Mill B South Trail - Big…

Strenuous & steep hike with amazing high alpine lake views. One of my very favorite hikes in Big Cottonwood and the Wasatch

Want to see the beauty of the alpine Salt Lake? Head out to this trail. It starts from Big Cottonwood Canyon (a fun drive on it's own) and will take you to a beautiful lake overlook.

Beautiful views of the Salt Lake Valley and an alpine lake. Steep trail but worth it! Can get crowded so get there early.

“A short and pleasant hike to Lisa Falls. If you are looking for more hiking after seeing the falls, go across the road to the Little Cottonwood Canyon hiking trail!”

“The turn off to the Donut Falls Hiking Trail is located approx 9 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon (very large parking area along the main road). Utah Outdoor Activities does not advise climbing up the rock to view the "donut hole" as the rock is very slippery and DANGEROUS. If you do, you do so at your own risk.”

Grocery or Supermarket
“Biggest grocery store chain in the Salt Lake Valley and where we usually shop. It's part of the Kroger family of stores. Lots of foodie options like a gourmet cheese case, a variety of Kombucha and specialty beer, ale and hard seltzer options (all you can get outside of a state liquor store here in Utah), and a salad bar and daily prepared fresh sushi case (which isn't too bad for grocery store sushi). It's 1.9 miles, or 6 mins away. It does get busy during ski season as it's on the way to the slopes in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Reasonably priced too.”
