Be A Beekeeper
*** SAT & SUN TOURS ARE MARCH 15th to OCTOBER 31st *** Hives are closed in cold weather to help the bees survive, then reopen in warmer months. Our "Make Honey Wine" class will hopefully be available soon. Give us a buzz @ 925. 852 and 9900 with questions :)
Times are based on when bees are the happiest (when the field bees are out gathering nectar & pollen). We visit happy bees when it's above 60 deg with little wind. If forecast shows rain or high winds, we'll need to reschedule to a warmer day.
TO BOOK:
Enter the # of Adults & Children that may be coming. Our base rate is $210, which covers up to 2 adults & 1 child (3-12 years old). DETAILS:
This is a fun opportunity to get to inspect a busy beehive!
First, we’ll suit up in protective gear. Then we’ll head to the Apiary where you'll learn about the art of beekeeping & the various tools used. Now it's time to inspect a hive. Hold a frame covered with 100's of bees ... a great photo opp! Press your finger into the comb and taste the freshest honey ever!
When all done it's now time to be a "Chef" and do a honey & food pairing. This is such a sweet experience for all :)
Forage Edible Plants & Mushrooms
Find out what you can eat in the woods! We'll hike in the lovely Santa Cruz mountains where I'll guide you on a beautiful, quiet 1-2 mile walk in the unique coastal oak & redwood forest. Together we'll learn the ancient ways of identifying edible and medicinal mushrooms, plants, roots, flowers, nuts and seeds (depending on the season. Mushrooms come out after the rains and fruit through winter, sometimes into spring). Along the way we'll discuss proper harvesting and preparation techniques while connecting to the beauty and abundance of our ecosystem.
This experience is a fun, hands-on way to connect to what can feed, heal and harm us in the wild. You'll walk away with a whole new appreciation and understanding of nature! The hike is doable for all skill levels. See you on the trail!

Intimately experience a biodiverse farm
We'll start by foraging through the farm to make a diverse "goat salad." We'll walk through the garden, stop to admire the beehives, and then feed and pet our mini horses, adorable Babydoll sheep, and silly goats. Once our animals have had their salads, The Farmhouse Kitchen at The Nest Box (MEHKO permit #PT0501239) will treat you to a light seasonal farm picnic. Following your fresh farm treats, we'll step in with the chickens and ducks. We'll feed them organic hen scratch and farm greens, if available. We'll watch them happily scratch around and quack and coo, and you can hold and pet them if you’d like too. While they’re scratching around, we’ll step into the coops to check for eggs, then we'll visit with our rambunctious pigs and Harper, our sweet Jersey cow. We'll finish our experience with a calm and relaxing visit with our bunnies and guinea pigs. We'll feed and pet these sweet and soft fur balls.
All along the experience, you will learn fun facts about our diverse plant and animal family, and you’ll leave with a seasonal farm gift.
Other things to note:
Wear comfortable closed-toed walking shoes and clothes you don't mind possibly getting a bit dirty. Boots and long pants are ideal.

Tarot & Psychic Channeling on the Vortex
This experience is for solo querents or couples, as for the session, we go deep into each individual's psyche for the the full hour. I connect with your guides, members of your lineage as well as access your subconcious to address unresolved trauma, questions, woundings (both in the body and mind) and provide clarity and integration in moving forward. Using a combination of Qabbalistic Tarot which I have been trained in for over 10 years, as well as psychic channeling which runs in my lineage; I make a connection both physiologically as well as psychologically with detail and accuracy. This work is heightened by aligning it to take place on the sacred land. To the powerful vortex energy emitting from the earth in Sedona. Taken place in natural setting, to magnify the intensity and power of the channeling. I also clear your energetic body at the end of the session, and seal closed all psychic portals, that we open in the beginning. For any questions about more of this type of work, feel free to send me a message or refer to my site. It is very important guests are on time, or no later than 10 minutes late because the full hour is required for this experience!

Guided Meditation Sound Bath Ceremony & Psychic Channeling
***Hello Friends! Please read below before booking!***
Although the view outside was spectacular, the passerbys now that come to play disc golf have often been very loud & negligent of the shared space, interrupting the sensitive nature of sound journeys
So I only host outdoor experiences now for private parties/small groups upon specific request.
Guests will arrive at designated address, where I will greet them. Yoga mats and blankets will be provided. We will start by getting grounded with a light meditation, then a prayer circle of intention setting. I offer the option of administering rapay (pronounced hapeh) a blend of herbs and ground South American tobacco as a precursor and aid to the shamanic soundbath. I highly recommend partaking in it, as it PROFOUNDLY and immediately roots the spirit and body straight into the grid. We then begin facilitating a guided ceremony of psychosomatic therapy using sound bowls, chanting & shamanic drumming. For closing, I channel with/without my card deck, where I tap into the unconscious of each guest & communicate any messages that want to come through from the deep. These messages can be very cathartic.

Goat Walk on The Beach
We are hosting a goat walk on the beach with two or more goats in our herd for individuals and groups. A few hours before our meeting time we prepare and transport our trained goats from our herd all the way down to the beach from our sanctuary to walk alongside you for a unique, once in a lifetime experience.
Our goats are very special goats nurtured from birth by Billie and her interns to develop a strong trusting relationship with people. Our goats love people and are very interested in getting to know the people they meet.
We will meet at the trail head that leads to a very magical and less frequented beach location. When we meet at the trail head location we will talk for about 10 minutes with tips on goat safety. We will also talk about goat companionship, interspecies communication, and the history of humans and goats plus lots more while we walk the trail to the beach guiding the goats along side us stopping to munch a bit. The path to the beach includes a beautiful forested landscape and a few flights of stairs so be prepared to walk some stairs. The walk down to the beach takes about 15 minutes. We will spend about 40 minutes on the beach with the goats.
This walk may be canceled if there are less than 4 guests booked. So invite friends!
Children are welcome to attend with adult supervision. The whole experience will last no longer than 90 minutes.

Beginner Surf Lesson - Santa Cruz
Beginner Surfing l is our popular 2.5-hour group surf clinic. So what will you be learning? This clinic was designed with the beginner in mind – we welcome complete newbies as well as people who have tried surfing on their own for a while and still need help. We will walk you through all the basics to get you started and catching waves! There will be a short land-lesson to start, and after that we'll head out to catch some waves. You'll get approximately 1:30-2 hours of "water time" in the 2.5-hour class. Maximum ratio of 4 students per instructor.
FAQ: Why are some of these class times SOOO early?!
Answer: When it comes to surfing, mother nature sets a lot of the rules - that's what makes it such a unique sport. If we don't go on the right tide, we won't get any waves! While those early morning sessions might be hard to wake up for, they are also truly magical. Great surf conditions, no wind, no crowds - it is about as epic as it gets. If you make the commitment go early, we can promise you'll be rewarded with the experience of a lifetime!
Forest Bathing in Majestic Redwoods
Join us for an immersive experience of Forest Bathing (Shirin-Yoku) in magnificent redwoods!
We meet in a local-favored cafe and then head to a hidden wonderland.
We enter the forest with reverence. We'll slow down, open our senses, listen to birds, smell fresh air, feel the breeze on our skin, and immerse in nature's healing power.
Forest releases a significant amount of phytoncides, compounds that increase Natural Killer (NK) Cells in human bodies and kill tumor- and virus-infected cells. Other benefits include strengthening immune system, reducing stress, enhancing wellbeing, and more.
After the first 45 minutes, we'll hike in regular pace while still incorporating all the principles of forest bathing. Along the way, we'll partake a walking meditation with signage points for reflection.
At the hilltop lies a spectacular view of the Bay and Apple headquarters famous Spaceship in the distance.
From there, we'll hike down to Montalvo Park, a historic site with an impressive Italian garden and an expansive lawn with exquisite sculpture and art display.
We close our journey at the Great Lawn of Montalvo. You'll have plenty of time to explore on your own.
This nature experience is a 2-mile walk/hike with an elevation of 500-800 feet. Whether you're looking for a fun outdoor activity or corporate team-building, this is a go for you
