The absolute best experience for true Southern food in Savannah. Only open 11:00am - 2:00pm Monday - Friday.
You need to be there early as a line forms around the block but moves quickly. You sit at tables for ten with tabletops crowded with platters of fried chicken, cornbread dressing, sweet potato souffle, blackeyed peas, okra, gumbo, corn muffins and biscuits, rice and gravy, rutabagas, mashed potatoes, BBQ chicken and so much more. Normally as many as 15 or more items.Dessert is included as well as drinks. No alcohol but plenty of sweet tea!

Large city park that covers 30 acres in the historic district of Savannah, GA. Tuesdays are particularly popular and most visitors spend at least an hour.
The park is a draw for locals as well as tourists for relaxing in the sun or shade under the huge moss-laden oaks as well as soccer games, running, walking, people-watching, reading and more. There is a playground for the little ones and a cozy café.
On Saturdays during most months there is a great Farmer's Market in the park on the Park Avenue side that offers everything from fresh vegetables, breads, honey, bison and beef products from a local farm and lots of amazing goods!
