Parks & Nature
The trails and track around the park are a scenic setting for a walk or jog. Two great playgrounds and a splash pad for kids. A free Tropical Greenhouse that is open to the public year-round (currently closed due to renovations, unfortunately), festivals and Sunday night live music at the bandshell throughout the summer months ("Seven Sundays"). Also has baseball diamonds, a bike park pump track, a Lawn Bowling Club, as well as indoor and outdoor tennis courts.

Gage Park

A great place to walk by the water, enjoy a meal or snack on the outdoor patio of either William's Fresh Cafe or food and drinks in the outdoor lounge of Sequoia. And have an ice cream cone for dessert at Waterfront Scoops! There's an outdoor public roller rink during the warmer months that turns into an outdoor skating rink during the winter. You may even catch some live music happening, especially if you take the boat tour around the bay.

We have yet to have room for a milkshake after having a burger and a side of fries, so you may want to either share a burger or visit a second time just to try their crazy milkshakes!

We are regulars at this hidden gem. Excellent atmosphere, great coffee and awesome edibles. My favourite non-coffee drink is their London Fog. If you happen to be there on the right day, you have to try a Doughnut Monster donut - local artisan doughnuts made by our friend Reuben!
They even have some kids books and toys, as well as colouring books for both kids and adults! A great rainy day destination that is close by.
