This is the newly opened, freshly rebuilt spot in the center of Newfane which replaces the burned-down Cafe and Creamery. Same owner (and it was great before, so. . . ) and same location. But a new building, menu! Check it out!

Recently (during COVID) guests told me about this place in Chester, a few minutes north.I haven’t been able to check it out yet. (Fall 2022) But check the link. Very positive reviews from previous guests.

Just off Putney road, try The Marina Restaurant. The food is excellent (good fish specials), drinks, and entertainment some nights. I did the open mic on a Thursday this year. Lots of fun!

First, you can get there "through the woods" by way of Sunset Lake Road. And when I want breakfast out, or lunch with a friend, this is often where I go. A real diner!

The nearest hospital and emergency care. My daughter got an earache when she was four. I went at midnight, and she was well taken care of by friendly staff.

When my daughter was small, we took her here for a petting zoo experience. One December night we all took a sleigh ride! Very fun!

This is the nearest ski area. It's about a half-hour drive to the west. If you want to ski nearby, this is the place. There's a number of related activities for families there too. And the lifts run at other times of year for sight-seeing.
