It is a short drive from our place (about 45 minutes), and has a wonderful hiking trail to a beautiful lake. If you want to continue you can hike the glacier and even James peak that is behind it.

This is a beautiful park that is just south of downtown Denver. It has a large lake and running paths around the entire park. It is located in the old, popular and quaint neighborhood of Washington Park. It is also close to the Cherry Creek mall and the Cherry Creek bike path.
