Akvárium Klub, the surrounding Erzsébet Square, and the adjacent Deák Square together constitute the largest and perhaps best-known meeting point of downtown Budapest. Thousands of youngsters gather here night after night to chill out in the park or on the steps of the club. Akvárium Klub is more than a simple bar: it is a culture center with a wide musical repertoire from mainstream to underground. There is always a good concert and a smashing exhibition, performance, or other event happening here, in a friendly scene, situated right in the city center. Perhaps because Fröccsterasz doesn't pretend to be more than a pub terrace; not even after opening an adjacent indoor hangout in the autumn of 2016. They kept their free, cool and stylish design in the new place as well, their prices are not positioned towards the sky, but are not overtly cheap either. Furthermore, before, after or even during sipping on tasty fröccs, we can also munch on a complete meal. The appeal of the place lies in the fact that sitting here immerses you completely into the buzz of Erzsébet Square.
