They recently remodeled our downtown train station and it has interesting historic features and new bars and restaurants. It is a 20 minute light rail ride from our house and the train will say "Union Station", as it is the last stop of that line to downtown. Once there, you can access much of downtown Denver by walking or the free mall ride down the 16th street mall.
