I don't like chain restaurants. I don't like fast food. But if I had to do one or both, I would choose Chick-fil-A almost every time. If you like spice, try the #2 and make it "deluxe". If you're not from the South, Chick-fil-A (CFA) is must have. Hands down, CFA is one of the best fast food places I've ever been to.

Manuel's is in a cute little town in North Augusta, SC, which is right across the Savannah River. I've had great brunch experiences here and the chef is always trying something new and delectable.

I'm not a huge fan of their food, but their carrot cake is one of my favorites. Pick up some cake and walk on over to the Riverwalk for a nice, peaceful walk along the Savannah River.
