One of our favorite restaurants. This is Texas style barbecue and they have awesome brisket! Along with awesome barbecue, they have an awesome indoor/outdoor space with good beer selection and good cocktails. PS their homemade icecream is AWESOME!

A local favorite with nice views of the marina. We grew up going here as kids and still make an effort to go once a month. Definitely and iconic restaurant with good breakfast options. Don't forget to bring your parking receipt with you because they stamp it so that you can get free parking.

Short walk (5-8 minutes) on the iconic King Street. This is one of our favorite bars because it also has a rooftop bar. Depending on when you arrive there is usually a wait to get in and then sometimes a wait to get onto the roof.

Lower King Street at the King and Calhoun intersection is a great way to spend the day. Also checkout the Second Sunday on King where they close the streets to car traffic and allow people to set up vendors and food in the street. Very fun experience
