This beautiful mountain is the most visited mountain in North America with spectacular views and wildlife. There are three ways to get to the summit: taking the 8.9 mile cog railway train, the 19 mile Pikes Peak Highway (which is paved and open year-round, weather permitting), or by hiking the 13 mile Barr Trail. Make sure you dress warmly, if you decide to visit the top, as it is much colder at that altitude (14,115 ft above sea level).
