Wonderful walk around tours of the USS MIDWAY. I retired Navy War Ship. You can walk around -inside and out, to better understand how and where our troops live, while protecting us here at home.
It's an amazing way to spend 2-3 hours in the morning or late afternoon. There are also restaurants all around for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Gift Shops and all kinds of Harbor Fun.

It's an amazing way to spend 2-3 hours in the morning or late afternoon. There are also restaurants all around for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Gift Shops and all kinds of Harbor Fun.

Getting Around
There is a DECOBike Stand on Washington and Brant Street, right next to the US Bank and the Wells Fargo.
Rent a Bike for a few hours and enjoy Mission Hills, Hillcrest, Bankers Hill and Balboa Park. All close and easy to get to.
Also, rent a bike and cycle over the North Park for a Micro-Brew Crawl. Just drop the bikes at the North Park DECObike Stand and enjoy the 20 or so TOP Microbreweries. My favorite two are Blind Lady Ale House, and Tiger Tiger (a throwback to Munich, Germany in the 1950's) Love, Love, Love.......I'd fill up on Kolsch or 3 and Uber on home when I'm done.
