Several walking trails which range from short walks to around an easy 4 hour walk. There is also the Pelorus river where you can swim by the bridge in the crystal clear waters. Fabulous location. The Pelorus Bridge cafe located at the parking area has lovely cafe food.

World war I and II museum with a wonderful collection of planes and the scenes have been designed by Weta workshops and the WW1 collection of the Director Peter Jackson's planes and artefacts from WW1. Even for the non historian it is a worthwhile visit.
