Zumo, a high class Mediterranean restaurant, has stunning views, an amazing well rounded menu, and fantastic drink options. I recommend the calamari dish and for dessert the chocolate tamale with strawberry butter ice cream.

One of the best places in town to get churros, hot chocolate, and coffee. Get there early (around 9am) if you want to eat without waiting in line for a table or for to-go churros. Also the breakfast's are really delicious.

This botanical garden has stunning views of the valley and San Miguel de Allende, a well kept walking trail with a wide variety of native plants, and the best (and only place I have found) carambuyo ice cream.

Las Monjas ( meaning the nuns) , located West of the Parroquia cathedral, is home to the convent of nuns in San Miguel. This cathedral is smaller than the Parroquia but equally as stunning. Located outside is an awesome ice cream stand with an amazing lime flavored ice.
