This is not the Gettysburg hotel it is across the street from the Hotel. This is called the Gettysburg Baking Company. They have great homemade bread and pastries made fresh everyday by Sheila the baker/owner and her staff. They also have yuppie sandwiches and coffee. They have seating in the back of the shop. I recommend the seeded twist and the sourdough breads. Oh, and the chocolate pastry is my favorite! Once you are done eating you can visit Larks gift shop that's attached to the seating area.

But if you're looking for outdoor seating they have a food truck and a bar out back. They also provide live music on the weekends. Indoor in the winter and outdoor in the summer.

You can sit on the front porch and watch the traffic go by or sit out back where it's quiet and enjoy the garden. Attached is also a hard cider House so you may enjoy a cold beverage with your meal. They offer poetry and readings. They have great seating indoors on the first and second floor with comfy couches and even a piano to play on.

If you're staying with us in the nicer months I highly recommend perusing the vendors and food trucks. It usually opens at the end of April. One of our favorite vendors is Charming Meadows run by Melanie and John. They have the best variety of mushrooms!!
