Historians say that Aviation subdivision was Henry Ford's air strip back in the day. The northern half of the subdivision is in Detroit and the lower half is in Dearborn. The older houses on the dearborn side were built in the twenties.

Take a walk down Oakman Boulevard to see houses ranging in value from $125,000.00 to $1,500,000.00. Or, you can stroll down Manor st. for more affordable options such as $100,000.00 condos.

Qahwah means coffee drink. When I first visited Dearborn in 2019 my friend took me to this coffee shop. I was mesmerized by it's uniqueness. If you like coffee, this is a "must experience" kind of place.

Ford fan? The Henry Ford Museum is only 15 minutes/6.2 miles Southwest of here. If you enjoy old cars, airplanes, farm equipment, household items and much more than this is a must see! You can easily spend all day here.
You can also request a ride to the Ford F150 Assembly Plant. There you can take a self guided tour and watch how the F150 is assembled. Very fascinating.
Also, right next to the museum is Greenfield Village. Here 300 years of American perseverance serve as a living reminder that anything is possible. Take a ride in a real Model T. Glass blowing, pottery making and much more will captivate you at this intriguing place. See men and women dressed in attire from 100 years ago. Worth your time. Try it.

Eastern Market sells only locally grown fresh produce. A must for those who are serious about good health. They are open from 7am-4pm on Saturdays year round. Tue. 9am-3pm (June-Sept). Sun. 10am-4pm (June-Sept).
