This Neapolitan pizza place is our favorite in town. It can get very busy in the early evenings (great for kids, but adults appreciate this fare!). Terrific pies, but also check out their daily selection of anti pasti and delicious small plates.

Tiny spot with amazing pizza! Can you tell we like good pizza? This spot has a wood fired oven that is in full view. Seating can be hard to get so be prepared to wait. Desserts are homemade and delicious!

If you see just one Smithsonian Museum on your visit, let it be this one. The newly unveiled Obama portraits have been added to the Presidents collection. You do not want to miss the Preamble in license plates right near the gift shop (go through entrance on G Street side). The courtyard is a great place to let kids run in the open space, with fountains and a few tables/seating.

There are quite a few trails you can catch right from our place. If you head left on 19th, then right on Park Road, you can enter the park by following the road to the right. You can also stay on Porter and take the Klingle Trail to the other side of the Park to visit Cleveland Park.

It's a great place for a picnic, a walk or just enjoying a beautiful afternoon. You will see dogs, strollers, people playing lawn games and others just enjoying the stunning fountains and greenery. Beautiful views of the monument from here as well.
