Sightseeing

There is an abundance of crown land in the area to explore, either on foot or off roading with your Jeep, ATV or dirt bike. Let us know if you are interested in learning about our favourite trails.
Eagle's Nest is an hour long round trip hike, following an old logging trail. It's a fairly easy hike until it's time to start climbing to see that view. Ask me about the more local path to get to the top if you are intersted in a not so busy path.

Food scene

This is a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike. The staff is friendly and the food is fantastic. It is a family friendly restaurant. The pulled pork egg rolls are dynamite, along with a Redneck Logger (lager). This place is busy so best to make a reservation. (613) 752-1888 Address: 12603 Lanark Rd, Calabogie ON

This is a terrific little breakfast and lunch spot. The cappuccinos are addictive. My favourite is the smoked salmon served at breakfast. All of the baked goods are excellent. There is a great view of Calabogie Lake if you decide to eat outside. There is also a one of a kind outdoor fire place. Address: 636 Mill Street, Calabogie, ON
