My favorite Italian in San Diego and its only 3 blocks from your front door! Their fresh Burrata menu and their Pesto Pistachio sauce is to die for! Bring your own wine for a small corkage fee. Reservations recommended, especially for the weekend. But if you cant get in and don't want to wait, order takeout and enjoy on the deck :-)

Less than 2 blocks from your front door with the BEST classic Italian style pizza! I highly recommend the Prosciutto and Burrata Pizza. It never disappoints.

Free parking right there at the beach if you need to take many beach supplies. Just be aware it is a SURFER's beach and you will have to walk down the beach a little bit to get to the "swimmers area". Catch sunset here and watch the surfers ride the waves or join in for a surf

This is a Park about 1 mile from the house that overlooks the ENTIRE city and beaches of San Diego! Its my favorite view in all of San Diego. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Rosarito, Mexico and beautiful views of downtown San Diego and the Coronado Bridge.
You can run the paved pathway around the park, play on the playground, or just sit and enjoy the views. Be aware it is partially one large hill if you plan to walk or run the pathway.

La Jolla Cove is the iconic "seal beach" area of downtown La Jolla. Take a walk around the cove and watch the sea lions be lazy on the beach and people kayaking in the cove. The sunsets are obviously spectacular. Just be aware the groups of sea lions can cause a bit of a stinky breeze
