The decor and feel inside is welcoming and modern. The staff is all so friendly & attentive. Also the chefs and quality of the fish of the food here is what keeps this place popular on most days.

30 year old standby for Mexican cuisine with a signature grilled chicken dish plus much more. Great fast casual place to grab a bite to eat with the family. The outside fire pits are very relaxing.

Definitely a hidden gem. Service is nice and they carry local items. Store is small but well stocked and prices range from fair to pricey, but given that it is small organic, local health food store they have to charge a bit more. Great little gem. Prices are still affordable for organic, healthy food.

Buena Vista became California's first ecological reserve in 1969. The lagoon offers sanctuary to many species. It is located on the annual migration route known as the Pacific Flyway, and millions of birds pass through during migrations. More than 100 bird species, 18 mammals, and 14 amphibians and reptiles live in and around the lagoon. More than 230 types of birds have been spotted there, including the California Quail, Vermillion Flycatcher and the Great Blue Heron. The lagoon may be viewed from the tranquility of Maxton Brown Park on Laguna Avenue and State Street, the Ecological Wildlife Viewing Area on Jefferson Street and Marron Road, or the Buena Vista Audubon Society.

10-15 trains daily will take you anywhere from San Diego/Mexico up to OC, LA & even Santa Barbara!

Nice place with outdoor seating and fine cocktails in South OSide! Located inside is Mason Ale works which they brew their own beers and have a 100+ whiskey collection. Lots of stuff going on. and everything is good. Cool Place!
