Breakfast recommendations are Island Kitchen, Black Eyed Susans and the Downyflake. Nantucket Bake Shop has excellent donuts and the Wicked Island Bakery has unique sticky bins.
A quick walk from the house they have excellent breakfast and lunch options.

Nantucket is a unique island and has many things to offer and the historic flavor of the island is felt throughout. Bike trails take you all over the island and there are many hiking trails. You can find them on nantucketconservation.org. Beaches are everywhere; the north side being calmer and the south side having the bigger waves for bodysurfing or surfboarding. The Whaling Museum is a must see.

Easy Riders bicycle rentals is a quick walk down Surfside Road and my house is on the bus line.

Dinner reservations
It is recommended to book dinner reservations as early as possible and most restaurants offer on line booking. My favorites are Dune, Oran Mor, Nautilus, Seagrille, and Ventuno.
Millie's in Madaket does not take reservations and offers sunset views. The Food truck at 167 Hummock Pond Road is great for lunch.
